TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment – Industry Consultation

The TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment is not deemed equivalent to TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Some of the critical changes to note are:

There are now 9 core units and 1 elective

There are two new core units:

• TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools
• TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills

Two of the core units are not deemed equivalent.  These are:

• TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and processes
• TAEASS403 Participate in assessment validation
