I’m a passionate Trainer and Assessor with over six years of experience in vocational education and more than 26 years in the hairdressing industry. My journey began as a qualified hairdresser, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across various roles within the industry — from hands-on salon work to mentoring and developing new talent.
For the past six years, I’ve dedicated myself to education — spending three years at a private RTO and another three years with TAFE NSW. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to guide and inspire students as they begin their own careers in hairdressing. I’m passionate about creating engaging, practical learning experiences that build confidence, creativity, and professionalism.
I take great pride in sharing my industry knowledge and helping students develop the skills they need to succeed. For me, education isn’t just about teaching techniques — it’s about empowering others to find their passion and purpose within this ever-evolving industry.

With over 26 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, I’ve had the opportunity to build my career from the ground up — starting as an apprentice and working my way through senior stylist and management roles before becoming a salon owner. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the craft, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of what it takes to run a successful business in a dynamic and ever-changing industry.
My time on the salon floor has been filled with creativity, teamwork, and a constant drive to deliver quality service and innovation. Each stage of my career has shaped my approach to both hairdressing and mentoring others — combining hands-on expertise with a genuine passion for helping people grow in their own professional journeys.
After many rewarding years in the salon, I’ve transitioned majority of my time into education, where I now enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge as a Trainer and Assessor, guiding the next generation of hair professionals toward success.
