TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training

No, it has been deemed not equivalent. Units of competency have changed. Specialisations have been introduced. The design and development requirements are now integrated as a specialisation in the TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.

The units that have been deemed equivalent are:

• TAEDEL501 Facilitate e-learning is deemed equivalent to TAEDEL511 Facilitate e-learning
• TAEICR501 Work in partnership with industry, enterprises and community groups is deemed equivalent to TAEICR511 Work in partnership with industry, enterprises and community groups
• TAEPDD501 Maintain and enhance professional practice is deemed equivalent to TAEPDD511 Maintain and enhance professional practice
• TAERES501 Apply research to training and assessment practice is deemed equivalent to TAERES511 Apply research to training and assessment practice

The qualification structure, packaging rules and listed units of competency have changed. Specialisations have been introduced. The design and development requirements which were in the TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development (now deleted) are integrated as a specialisation.

28/8/23  I just received my TAE40122 Certificate in the mail for my TAE22! Love the silver embossing! I completed my Upgrade via RPL, for all units except equivalents. The RPL process with ITTA was clear, fair, and feedback was timely. Candidate guides were crystal clear and the process from start to finish was a positive experience! The TAE22 RPL tools are excellent from a candidate perspective! Chris Blanch

4/1/24 Everyone was really supportive during this process but I specifically would love to call out Jo Lucke for being really quick, attentive, supportive + flexible with her working hours given the way we work and sometimes getting more or less time to get tasks done. I would not have been able to complete this as quickly or efficiently without her.  JS
